“GIF” It

By Noelle Smith

We’ve had a lot of laughs in Washington so far. It’s easy to do with the light-hearted, happy group of students we have. I thought I’d show you some fun moments in the form of “GIFs”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with a “GIF,” it’s an animated set of photos. Basically, it’s a couple photos that flip back and forth.

Today, we had more free time than we’ve had any other day. Several of us wandered up to the Eastern Market. It’s kind of like a farmer’s market, but with many more vintage and crafty items. A flea market. As you can see below, Emily Grimm found this goofy hat, and we had a good time with it.

People noticed when we wore our Drake sweatshirts around the city. We’ve been asked questions about the university and been given some Iowa shout outs! Below, Lauren Ehrler, Emily Grimm, and Caitlin Robertson strut their stuff.

I’ll take you back to our experience at the Truman Bowling Alley in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building one more time. Here’s Drew Kaufman bowling for a strike.
